Ohio's America 250 events will focus on transportation during April, with a two-day Transportation Celebration taking place in Dennison, home of the Dennerson Railroad Depot Museum. The event will include vintage aircraft flyovers, World War II reenactors, a car show, veteran recognition and other activities. Other transportation-themed events include Touch a Truck on April 25 at Medina Community Recreation Center, Night at the Depot in Maumee, and a special exhibit on the Lincoln Highway at the Bucyrus Public Library. The state commission planning the year-long celebration of America's 250th anniversary has designated a theme for each month in 2026.
