Derek Davis, a Hampton, Virginia resident, is trapped in Bahrain after the U.S. and Israeli missile strikes-initiated counterattacks from Iran have shut down airports. Davis was in Bahrain for Navy contract work and was supposed to return home on February 28th. Kelly Abernathy, a friend with Davis, spoke about his experiences during the attacks and how the hotel where Davis was staying was bombed was also moved to various shelters. She urged anyone with a similar situation to contact the closest U.,S. embassy to alert them of the situation.
