The Van boys soccer team has had a remarkable season, with no playoff appearances and setting new records. The team, led by head coach Johnathan Batres, has reached the regional semi-finals for the first time and only their second playoff appearance ever. They are also working to grow the program outside of the season, through off-seasons camps and a winter soccer tournament hosted by the school. They hope to continue their winning seasons and establish East Texas as a soccer hub.
