Antonee Robinson, a member of the USMNT's starting XI for this World Cup, has been struggling with a knee injury that required surgery last spring and wasn't improving. Robinson missed national team camps in September and November and was unable to play due to the injury. He is now hoping to put this behind him during a pair of friendlies against Belgium and Portugal in Atlanta. This will be Robinson's first game action for the national team since October 2024. Robinson has played in three of the past four games for Fulham, his club in the Premier League, two of which were for the full 90 minutes. He attained U.S. eligibility after his father became a citizen.
