Iran-linked hacker group launches debilitating cyberattack against US medical company

An Iran-linked hacker group, the Handala Team, has claimed responsibility for a cyberattack against US medical company Stryker, marking the first such attack since the war began. The attack caused a global network disruption to Strykers' Microsoft apps and the company reported no indication of ransomware or malware. The group claimed to have seized 50 terabytes of critical data from Stryk, in retaliation for the killing of at least 175 schoolgirls during US-Israel military-led strikes on Iran. The cyberattack also wiped information from some employees' devices.
