Professional boxer Miguel "Silky Smooth" Gonzalez, known for his 25-4-0 record, has been indicted on three charges of menacing by stalking and telecommunications harassment. The charges follow two previous convictions in 2020 and a guilty plea in 2015. In January, police allege that Gonzalez posted audio of his ex-girlfriend having sex on social media, emailed her a photo of a man standing inside her house and called her more than 500 times. The ex had canceled her voicemail service, changed her driving routine, lost sleep and obtained a civil protection order from him. Initially, Gonzalez was charged with high bond due to Gonzalez's prior convictions and the nature of the victim's complaints. The investigation is ongoing to determine if more charges would apply based on Gonzalez's alleged social media posts.
