Heroic Students Rally To Stop Gunman Who Carried Out Suspected Terror Attack At Old Dominion

A suspected terror attack at Old Dominion University has left one person dead and two others wounded. The FBI Director, Kash Patel, credits brave students who stopped the gunman, Mohamed Bailor Jalloh, who was convicted in 2016 for conspiring to provide material support for ISIS. The attack occurred during which a student member of the Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) intervened with a knife and two ROTC members were injured. The incident occurred on March 12, 2026. As a result, Old Dominion President Brian Hemphill cancelled all classes and the FBI is investigating the shooting as an act of terrorism.
