The 2026 Libera Awards, presented by Merlin in association with the Foundation for Independent Music and the American Association of Independent Music, have been announced as the top nominees for the Independent Record Store of the Year. The nominees include Hayley Williams, Geese, Clipse, and Oklou. The 15th annual awards ceremony will take place on June 8 at Gotham Hall in New York City. For the first time, Independent Record Stores will be named the Year, and the Libera Award will also kick off the Indie Week conference. The winners will be announced at the ceremony on Monday, June 8.
