Guardians, Athletics series preview, pitching matchups

The three-game series between the Athletics and the Guardians, starting with LHP Joey Cantillo (1-1, 3.26), vs. J.T. Ginn (0-0, 3.-24), and LHP Parker Messick (3-0) vs. Aaron Civale (2-1), will be taking the mound in the series finale. The series is set to begin on Friday at 9:40 p.m. The Athletics are struggling at the plate, ranking near the bottom of the American League in most major offensive categories, but have some key bats. Cleveland leads the all-time series with the Athletics 1,058 to 927. The Guardians won 4-2 against the Athletics last year.
