Kirsten Light, a resident of Bernards Township since 2010, is running for the position of the chair of the Board of Education. Light believes that the direction of the community should be decided by its residents rather than closed-door discussions. She previously served as the Finance Committee Chair and a member of the Facilities and Operations Committee. Her platform includes addressing affordable housing, property taxes, and infrastructure.
