PPG, Pittsburgh Penguins team up with elementary school students to recycle thousands of cans

The Pittsburgh Penguins and the Environmental Charter School (PPG) are partnering to recycle aluminum cans as part of the national Million Cans Recycling Contest. So far, students have collected over 27,000 cans. The initiative aims to increase students' environmental education and keep aluminum out of the oceans. The Pittsburgh Penguins will contribute all of their aluminum cups and cans from their game against the Buffalo Sabres.
