Two suspected car burglars have been arrested following a brief police chase in Greenway Plaza, where they allegedly broke into vehicles. The Houston Police Department's Central Crime Suppression Unit spotted the suspects when they fled when they were approached by officers, leading them to a crash which resulted in their arrests. This arrest follows the arrest of four other alleged car burglary suspects near NRG Stadium during the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo weekend. The incidents are part of proactive patrols targeting areas known for vehicle break-ins during major events, particularly during large gatherings.
