BSO deputy accused of sexual battery terminated following arrest

A Broward Sheriff's Office detention deputy, Edwin Horace, has been arrested on two counts of sexual battery and one count of false imprisonment. The arrest occurred at a party in Deerfield Beach, Florida, where a woman reported being sexually assaulted. When questioned, Horace admitted to the charges but claimed it was consensual. He had been employed with the BSO since June last year.
