A man was fatally stabbed four people, including a woman and a dog, on the Interstate 495 Beltway near Washington, DC, before being shot and killed by a Virginia state trooper. The incident was described as road rage and not believed to be terrorism-related. The suspect was taken to hospital and later succumbed to his injuries. The other victims are unknown.
