Tornado barrels through south Enid Thursday night

A tornado swept through south Enid, Oklahoma, causing significant damage to homes and businesses. The massive storm hit around 8 p.m. on Thursday night, causing homes to be leveled and completely torn apart. Despite the devastation, no one died and around a dozen people were injured. The town's mayor, David Mason, anticipates a long road to recovery, but acknowledges that property can be rebuilt, belongings can be repurchased, and life could have been significantly worse. The tornado hit Vance Air Force Base and another neighborhood off Highway 81.
