The New York Yankees are awaiting a CT scan on Jasson Domínguez's left elbow, which they are considering if he will miss significant time. The team is also considering how to replace him with Anthony Volpe from the injured list. This could include an opening at designated hitter as long as Giancarlo Stanton remains on the injury list due to a low-grade right calf strain. The most likely scenario involves rotating Aaron Judge, Ben Rice or Amed Rosario at DH, allowing Paul Goldschmidt to start at first base. Meanwhile, Carlos Rodón is set to make a second rehab start with Double-A Somerset, where he is expected to build his pitch count into the 70s.
