Trump Plans 4,500-Seat “Arena” On South Lawn For White House UFC Event

President Donald Trump plans to host a mixed martial arts competition on the White House grounds on July 2 as part of his year-long celebration for the United States' 250th birthday. The event, dubbed UFC Freedom 250, will see a 4,500-seat "arena" built on the South Lawn and also feature massive screens of the fight. However, the president may not be able to keep the arena a permanent structure due to the president's view of several areas. The announcement comes after Paramount secured a seven-year media rights agreement worth $1.1 billion annually with TKO Group to be the exclusive home of all UFC events in the U.S.
