Two Denver-based cafes, Queen City Collective Coffee and Sweet Bloom Coffee, have been named among the Top 100 Coffee Shops in North America, Central America, and the Caribbean regions at the World of Coffee event in San Diego. The rankings were based on user reviews, with only 30 of the shops listed in the top 100 being from the U.S. The public and a panel of experts voted on the nominated shops, accounting for 70 percent of the weighted total. The ranking was based on coffee quality and barista expertise, as well as sustainability practices.
