DWI Driver Crashes, Rolls SUV Down Embankment Off Route 206 In Peapack: Police

A driver, Arthur Snyder IV, of Gladstone, New Jersey, was charged with driving while intoxicated after his car overturned and rolled down an embankment off Route 206 in Peapack and Gladstone. The driver was found standing in a wooded area off Holland Avenue and managed to climb back up to Holland Avenue without being trapped. An investigation found that Snyder had been driving at an unsafe speed when he lost control of the vehicle and it overturned over the guide rail. He was arrested and charged with various charges including DWI, reckless driving, careless driving, and failure to maintain lane.
