Shaker Heights police have issued several arrests related to alcohol violations in the past month. A 77-year-old woman from Shaker Heights was arrested for her second OVI offense after colliding with a Chevrolet vehicle and severing a utility pole. Two men were also arrested for felony-OVI after their vehicles were seen traveling through a stop sign. The man was wanted by the Ohio State Highway Patrol for mishandling firearms and had been arrested six previous times for drunk driving over the past 20 years. The Pizza Hut restaurant was also reported as a threat to the store's point-sale system, which was damaged by a woman. Other incidents included an arrest for disorderly conduct/intoxox.
