Golden Retrievers' Snow Zoomies With Deer Friend Are Straight Out Of A Storybook

A video featuring a deer named Benny and golden retrievers Junie and Kai has been viewed more than 146,000 times on the @brownhikingtrails TikTok account. The account's owner, Lorrie Brown, regularly hikes with her animals and has published a children's picture book based on the real-life friendship between Buttons the deer and Gbro the golden retriever. The zoomies are more commonly known as Frenetic Random Activity Periods (FRAPs), which occur most often in young animals. These animals often get the zoomies after defecating, after a bath or other grooming session, and after experiencing stress or overstimulation.
