Former Dolphins on the move after busy start to free agency

The Miami Dolphins have had a busy start to free agency, with several former players set to land with new teams. The team has also released several players, including quarterback Tua Tagovailoa and new signal-caller Malik Willis. The Dolphins have also released wide receiver Tyreek Hill, edge rusher Bradley Chubb, guard James Daniels, and wide receiver Nick Westbrook-Ikhine. Former Dolphins offensive tackle Larry Borom signed with the Detroit Lions, potentially helping them shift their offensive line. Safety Minkah Fitzpatrick was traded to the New York Jets for a seventh-round pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. Jake Bailey has agreed to a three-year deal with the Atlanta Falcons. The Los Angeles Chargers have agreed to reunite with Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel.
