A new film by Stop Soldier Suicide, a Raleigh-based group, aims to raise awareness and inspire action regarding veteran suicides. The National Veteran Suicide Prevention Annual Report indicates an increase in suicide rates for both male and female veterans, with 61 percent not recently using Veterans Administration Health Care. The group aims to reduce these numbers by 2030 and to eliminate the stigma around mental health and suicide.
