A group of fishermen spotted a 15-foot great white shark off Florida's Space Coast, near Cape Canaveral, during a fishing trip. The sighting was a rare sight that made it appear as though it were a once-in-a-lifetime outing. This sighting was made particularly special as great white sightings are rare among other shark species in Florida. Experts believe more of these sharks could be heading down to the Sunshine State. The fishermen saw the shark for around 20 minutes and thought it could have been a manta ray or a whale shark, but the fin gave it away. The sightings have not been reported, but researchers have alerted researchers to keep tabs on where the shark is headed.
