12-year-old girl released from hospital after being struck by car in South Miami-Dade

A 12-year-old girl was hit by a car while riding a motorized scooter in South Miami-Dade, causing serious injuries. The girl was airlifted to HCA Florida Kendall Hospital as a precaution and has since been released. It is unclear whether the driver of the car will face charges.
