NY detective busted for allegedly funneling guns to LI gangbangers linked to string of murders, armed robberies

Newly promoted Westchester detective, Kyren Braunskill, has been charged with peddling weapons to notorious Long Island gangbangers linked to multiple murders and armed robberies. The 34-year-old was named in an 18-person indictment by the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office and is accused of selling weapons to members of the “48 Gang” in Riverhead. The guns were used in both fatal and non-fatal shootings. Braunskill was also accused of plotting gun buys with indicted thug Nickomas Allen and a member of another syndicate. He was placed on suspended duty pending the outcome of the case.
