Santa Fe school removes Cesar Chavez name after sexual abuse accusations

The Santa Fe school board has unanimously voted to remove the name of Cesar Chavez Elementary School from the school following allegations of sexual abuse by multiple women, including civil rights activist Dolores Huerta. The school will temporarily use the name "theeventh" as a temporary name. The district plans to hold community meetings to decide on a permanent new name.
