A 22-year-old man has died after being shot during a police chase in south-western Germany. The incident occurred at around 1am (2300 GMT Saturday) and occurred when a vehicle attempted to evade a police check near the city of Saarbrücken. The driver of the vehicle was injured and a female officer was injured during the incident.
