Police in Lyndhurst have reported several incidents, including a 4-year-old child left alone in an SUV parked outside a nursing facility. The child's mother, 22, was cited for child endangerment after returning to the scene when she found the child had been left alone for at least 17 minutes. Other incidents included an arrest for an intoxicated woman for OVI and a car being towed for displaying fictitious license plates. A woman reported that her son, 8, had been threatened by another student at an elementary school, but no charges were filed. In other incidents, a man and woman were reportedly arguing at a home and the man drove away in his SUV. The theft of a PS5 video game controller was discovered at The Exchange, 5110 Mayfield Road, was also reported.
