This idea was revealed in an interview with The Washington Post. The Corinthian style is a favorite of President Donald Trump and has been used on his properties. A White House official confirmed there are no plans to change any existing columns on the Whitehouse. The proposal comes as the WhiteHouse undergoes major renovations to accommodate an ambitious 90,000-square-foot ballroom. The White House fired all six members of the commission in October, appointing a slate of new members who align with the president's goals.
