However, representatives for the four living former presidents, three Democrats and one Republican, said they have not been in touch with Trump recently. The claim was made during a meeting of the board of trustees of the Kennedy Center, where Trump is chairman. The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment after learning that none of the former presidents had spoken with Trump.
