Pittsburgh-Area Teacher Charged With Student-Related Sex Crime

A Pittsburgh-based teacher and former city council member, Martin Gatti, has been charged with attempted institutional sexual assault, unlawful conduct with a minor, and corruption of minors. The alleged incident occurred in an empty classroom. Gatti has been placed on administrative leave and the investigation is ongoing.
