Miles Caton Joined by Misty Copeland, Shaboozey and More for “I Lied to You” Oscars Performance

Miles Caton, Raphael Saadiq, Misty Copeland, Shaboozey, and the Sinners family performed their nominated song "I Lied to You" at the 2026 Oscars. The performance was part of the first of two performances from the best original song nominees. Other performers included Li Jun Li, Jayme Lawson and Jack O’Connell. The Oscars producers assured that all best song nominees are being treated with the same care, storytelling focus and intention as the other awards categories. This year, only two of the two nominated tracks are being performed from the Oscars state.
