Nashville launches more resources for residents impacted by deadly winter storm

Metro Nashville has launched new resources to help residents impacted by the historic ice storm. The city has highlighted new resources and reminded residents of existing resources that are still available. The new resources include the Metro Action Commission's Emergency Winter Housing Assistance Program, which offers mortgage, rental, or utility assistance, and over $700,000 is available for Davidson County residents with proof of hardship. FEMA Individual Assistance is also expanding aid through a major disaster declaration for Winter Storm Fern expanding available aid through FEMA Individual assistance for residents of 29 impacted Tennessee counties. Debris pickup is still scheduled for April 19, so residents are urged to bring their debris to the curb for the final trip by NDOT. The remaining debris is still being picked up by contractors.
