The Los Angeles Dodgers defeated the Colorado Rockies 7-1 in a chilly game at Coors Field, despite the cold weather conditions. The game-time temperature at 35 degrees was the lowest recorded at the start of a Dodger game. The Dodgers scored runs in each of the first five innings and managed to maintain their 15-4 start. Shohei Ohtani started the game with a double off Rockies starter Tomoyuki Sugano, who served up home runs to him in their previous encounters. All players in the starting lineup were active to stay warm, with Will Smith contributing two home runs and Andy Pages contributing his MLB-leading 21st run.
