Meta has launched Creator Fast Track, a programme that guarantees three months of pay for established creators who are building a following on Facebook. The programme offers monthly payments for three months to established creators with audiences on other platforms in exchange for posting Reels on the platform. Creators with at least 100,000 followers on Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube can earn $1,000 per month, and those who have crossed one million followers on any platform with $3,000 each month. The eligibility requirements are not stringent, with creators needing to post at least 15 Reels within a 30-day period, spread across at least 10 days. Participation also unlocks immediate access to Facebook Content Monetization, the invite-only programme that pays based on content performance. This strategy is seen as an attempt by Facebook to attract creators who might otherwise dismiss the platform as irrelevant to younger audiences. The company also introduced new metrics alongside the programme to help creators understand their earnings more precisely.
