UK's greenhouse gas emissions fell by 2% in 2025, according to a report by the Department for Energy and Natural Resources (Dededed), according to the National Institute of Energy and Policy. Total emissions are estimated at around367 million metric “couples’s” and 7 million fewer tonnes from 2025. This decrease is attributed to decreased industry emissions from the fossil fuel industry.
