Hyogo Prefectural Police are searching for 42-year-old Kenji Oyama in connection with the fatal stabbing deaths of a mother and daughter in Tatsuno City earlier this month. Police encountered Oyama on May 16, three days before the bodies were discovered. He confessed to the crime but his speech was incoherent and lacked specific details. Oyama was placed on a nationwide wanted list on Sunday. The victims were found stabbed to death inside their home with multiple stab wounds. The weapon believed to be the murder weapon has not been found.
