American fast-food chain, Chick-fil-A, has revealed the location and opening date of its first London restaurant. The new branch will be located in Kingston-upon-Thames, London, and is expected to open on March 5. This is the second attempt by the chain to break into the UK's chicken market after opening locations in Reading and Aviemore, which were met with backlash and a campaign by LGBTQ+ activists. The company's charity arm has a history of donating to organisations deemed hostile to LGBTQ+ rights, but has since replaced them with ones focusing on homelessness and education.
