The City of Parramatta's Family Movie Nights are returning in April 2026, bringing free outdoor cinema events to parks across the area during school holidays. Five local parks and reserves will be transformed into open-air movie theatres across two weekends during the school holidays, with films including recent blockbuster flicks projected onto the screen. The event will also feature themed activities, roving performers, food trucks, inflatable fun, and hands-on activities inspired by the films. The annual event has been popular with nearly 5,000 people attending last year's event. The line-up includes films including How to Train Your Dragon, F.S. Garside Park, Granville, and West Epping Park, Epping.
