Jenna Strouble, 30, is facing charges in the fatal shooting deaths of her boyfriend, his mother and stepfather in Crete Township, Indiana. Prosecutors claim she poses a danger to the community and a specific risk to her parents. The accused shooter was Jacob Lambert, the father of her two children and was Lambert's boyfriend and stepdad. Prosecutors have filed a petition for Stroubles to remain in the Will County jail under the SAFE-T Act, which allows defendants to stay in jail if they are charged with certain offenses, such as murder, and there are no conditions that can mitigate the risks of their pretrial release. This comes after a previous incident in January 2025 where deputies were called for a domestic battery and mental illness crisis intervention.
