A shooting in St. Paul, Minnesota, escalated into a heated online dispute that resulted in a shooting that left a 54-year-old bystander seriously injured. Sonram Poowang and Soe Moe Aung, both 20 and of St.Paul, were arrested and charged with aggravated assault. The incident occurred at a gas station where a man was shot in the chest and remains hospitalized. Surveillance video showed a dark sport-utility vehicle and a sedan being chased and shot at each other. The teens, ages 17 and 18, claimed they were supposed to meet with a girl from an Instagram chat group who supposedly found the 18-year old attractive and sent them the address of the Conway Recreation Center as a meeting point. They did not pull into the parking lot due to a suspicious sedan in the lot. Police described the incident as a gun battle and the teens did not fire back at the sedan.
