Driver Dies After Vehicle Plunges 10 Feet into Harbor Water

A car carrying two people plunged into the water at a northern California boat harbor, resulting in one fatality. The Southern Marin Fire District reported that its crews responded to a water rescue incident at the Sausalito Yacht Harbor on March 16. One person was transported to a local hospital, while the other was evaluated at the scene and received "lifesaving measures" on the dock. The vehicle had been submerged about 10 feet below the water and was pulled from the water using a tow.
