OpenAI has released GPT-5.4 mini and nano, its "most capable small models yet," designed to be fast and efficient for high-volume workloads. The new models are available for Free and Go users in ChatGPT, Codex, and OpenAI’s API. They are also recommended for classification, data extraction, ranking, and coding subagents.
