Eddie Murphy praised by Mike Myers' Shrek, Stevie Wonder at AFI award

Comedy legend Eddie Murphy has been awarded the American Film Institute's Life Achievement Award for his contributions to comedy. The award was presented at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles with an all-star cast including Mike Myers, Chris Rock, Dave Chappelle, Martin Lawrence, Kevin Hart, Tracy Morgan, Arsenio Hall, Kenan Thompson and Bill Burr. Murphy, known for his voice for Donkey in the animated movies, was praised by Mike Myers and Stevie Wonder. The ceremony will be broadcast on Netflix on 31 May.
