No shooting in rural Marseilles, sheriff’s office said

The La Salle County Sheriff's Office has confirmed that there was no double shooting incident north of Marseilles. The department is investigating what police call "a bullying incident" that led to the filing of a false report. The Coroner's Office and State's Attorney's Office also confirmed that no gunfire or murder investigations were initiated.
