A man, 38-year-old Jerry Hughes Overby, has been arrested for allegedly stealing a truck and leading Laredo police on a brief chase. The incident occurred on Friday, March 20, when a report was reported of the theft and subsequent pursuit led to Overby fleeing the scene. Overby was found in the 2800 block of Palo Blanco and faces charges of vehicle theft and evading arrest. The truck has been returned to its owner.
