Osaka Prefectural Police is investigating the death of a woman who was found bleeding on a barge moored beneath a bridge in Taisho Ward. The woman, believed to be in her 40s to 60s, was rushed to a nearby hospital but later pronounced dead. She sustained fractures to both legs and found suspicious discoloration on the skin of her neck, raising questions about her death. The barge was located under the Namihaya Bridge and is located about two kilometers southeast of Osakako Station on the Osaka Metro Chuo Line. Police are currently working to identify the woman and have scheduled a judicial autopsy to determine the cause of death.
