X Is Launching a Standalone Messaging App for iOS

X Corp. is launching a standalone messaging application for iPhone and iPad, XChat, aimed at creating a decentralized, private environment. The application features an entirely ad-free interface, no data tracking, and complete end-to-end encryption. It is currently available for pre-order and is set to hit the iOS ecosystem on April 24. XChat uses existing platform credentials to connect users and eliminates the hassle of phone number verification. The age rating is set at 16.
