Rapper Afroman's catalog rose by over 500% following a legal victory over seven Ohio cops who claimed he defamed them by releasing music videos mocking them after a failed raid on his home in 2022. The victory led to a surge in streaming activity, with Afroman’s discography earning over 1.12 million official on-demand U.S. streams and over 100 U-S. digital downloads in the week leading up to his trial. His signature hit, “High” earned over 600,000 official U.K. streams on the Friday following the verdict, up 133%. His album, "Lemon Pound Cake," has already hit No. 8 on Billboard's Comedy Albums chart and further gains could be made.
